What moved me to pursue photography is its unique ability to capture intimacy.  We document special events and milestones because we know to hold them dear.  They are the highlights of our lives that we look back on lovingly and share with our children and our children’s children.  My goal is to capture those moments.  Not the fixed poses, but the tiny seconds, the ephemeral moments that make those days so special.  The locked eyes, the knowing smile, the whisper in the ear.

I tell my clients to skip the generic and head straight to the personal.  Take me to your go-to bar that makes your favorite cocktail.  Let's head out to the cafe that serves the best sage huckleberry muffin (it's NYC, after all) that you share with your daughter.  If I do my job right, you’re having a good time and I fade into the background.  Together, we create a time capsule.

And, let's always emphasize:     LOVE IS LOVE.
